2009 Midland Open - Over £1,500 Prize Fund!
Entries are now being taken for the 2009 Midland Open 8-Ball Pool
Championships, brought to you by Premier Pool Promotions, and this
event is open only to the first 64 AMATEUR players who pay the £25
entry fee. With a prize fund of over £1,500 on the day (£450 to the
winner) this one is not too be missed and places are available on a
first-come first-served basis only.
The 2008 event was a massive success so dont miss out, enter early
to avoid disappointment!
The event is on Saturday, 15th August, 2009 and will be held at
Midland Pool & Snooker Club, Bilston Keys Industrial Estate, Oxford
Road, Bilston, West Midlands WV14 7DW.
All matches will be played to full World rules, best of 11 frames,
with prize money paid to the Last 16 and a plate event for all
competitors who lose in rounds one and two.

As well as the obvious excellent pool on show the club also boasts
other features to make the day even more entertaining. A full hot
food menu including curry dishes and all day breakfast is available
Draw: To be made in advance, subject to 64 advance entries*. All
players will be notified of there individual start times and the
full draw will be published in advance on uk8ball.com and various
regional webistes
Remember this event is for amateurs only, strictly no cuesports
professionals allowed. There will be no dress code at this event
Format: The main event is straight knockout and all matches played
to full World Rules and best of 11 frames. The plate event will be
best of 5 frames
Prize fund*: Winner - £450
Runner-up - £250
Semi-Finalists - £125
Quarter-Finalists - £75
Last 16 - £25
Remaining monies paid out in free plate event

or simply ask at the venue. Remember, this event is strictly
first-come first-served and once its full no further entries will be
taken so enter early to avoid disappointment. All of our previous 64
player events filled up very quickly so dont miss out!
